Maya's Big Girl Seat!!!

Time flies so fast!! It was time already to buy maya a new carseat!! Her infant seat was becoming a little snug. And with 3 months to go till she could face forward, she still faces backwards but has lots more room to get comfy!! And so far she is loving the new seat!! Expecially in Mommy's new car!!! But the real test will be after the 12 hour drive to florida!!! With this seat it will last a long time. It goes up to 100 lbs!!! We are just ready for the 1 year mark were it goes forward!!!!!

Maya's Latest Pageant News!!

Waiting her turn to go on stage!




Maya was in another pageant this weekend. A little short notice on this one!! But we got prepared and entered! It was a little pageant in Flora called Memorable moments. She competed with 6 other girls ages 0-11 months. It was a natural pageant red white and blue! The morning of the pagent maya woke up acting like she was coming down with something. And come to find out she was! She is home sick today! But We stuck it out and did the pageant. She was crowed All american Princess! For being sick she did very well. We were excited another accomplishment under her, at 7 months old!! This was a local "small" pageant!! This was only their 2nd one. We enjoyed this event but were much more pleased with her sunburst!! Sunburst had a little more "Pageant" knowledge!! But this was a good practice of the stage! And she came home with a trophy and crown! We were extremly excited about this!! We couldn't believe she placed so high!!! She was 1/10th of a point lower then the queen!!! It was increadable!! The points were all so close for all the girls!


Also Mayas cousins competed, Ava & Vayda in the 2 year old division Lexi in the 1 year old division & Sydney in the 7-9 year old division. Vayda recieved photogenic & Grand Supreme of 0-3, Ava got 4 runner up & prettiest eyes, Lexi got 4 runner up & Sydney was Queen of her division!! We are extremly proud!! Expecially for Sydney this was her first pageant and she was sick and didn't feel well at all!! We had a very sucessful weekend!! All of our girls did wonderfull!! We came home with lots of hardware as maya's daddy calls it!! Good job girls you all did wonderfull!!

We Also recived our information back from sunburst she had placed in top 10 but we were unsure of exact placement. Come to find out Maya was 5th runner up!!! Just one past top 5!!! This was a big accomplishement, sunburst is a tough pageant!! We look forward to next year at sunburst!!

We are looking forward to the next pageant!! Fabulous faces is the next big pageant that we have planned!!! It is very similar to Sunburst we are excited about it!!!

Sunburst State Pageant 2008

Maya competed in the 2008 Sunburst State Pageant in Bloomington on May 24 & 25. She competed with 16 little girls ages 0-15 months old. She competed in the Model Search, Swimwear, daycare wear & formal Wear. Maya was 2nd runner up in the Swimwear compitition. She also placed in the top 10 for tiny miss Sunburst. We had a wonderful weekend. We met lots of different friends and enjoy swimming and spending time with family. Maya's Grandma & Grandpa Landreth, Grandma Cammon, Aunt Tiffany & Richie, Uncle Ryan & Holly and her cousins Sydney, Ava, Vayda, & Ella were there to cheer her on!! Her cousins Vayda & Ava also competed in the 2 year old division. They tied 2nd runner up for model search, tied for 1 st runner up for swimwear, Vayda got 1st runner up in Daycare/Casual Wear & Ava was in the top 10. They all really enjoyed their weekend and first pageant for all 3 girls!!! This was a great experience. Maya came home with some "Hardwear" As her dad says. She got a 3 ft trophy, 2 other trophies and a golden crown. She also got a little stuffed puppy, and she loves it!!

Wow how the times go by so fast!! It seem like yesterday we were bringing home our little baby! Now our little baby is starting to crawl, sitting up alone and trying to feed her self!! It makes us so sad and happy at the same time! She can get were she wants. There is no sitting still anymore.

Maya's First tractor ride!! Living on the farm in Hoosier, you have to ride a tractor!! And she loves being outside!

Maya's First Easter!!

We enjoyed celebrating Maya first Easter this year! She was able to somewhat pull things out of the basket!! We spent lots of time with our families during easter and Maya got to see all her cousins!


She is tring to figure out what this thing is in front of her!! She was grabbing hold and dumping it!! We had to put things back into the basket many times to get pictures of it!!!

Vayda loves to hold Baby Maya! She really enjoys getting to see her and giving her kisses! It means alot that Vayda is so attached to Maya because Tiffany and I were best friends growing up and now our little girls are cousins and very close. It means alot. We love to get them in there dresses and take their pictures.

Maya had a great easter she even attempted to hunt eggs at grandpa goodwin! She got three!! She was able to spend time with all her grandparents on Easter too!

Wesley had to go to Washington IN, so Maya, Grandma Cammon & Myself rode along. We were able to take Maya swimming. The water was a little cool but it didn't bother her! She loves the water, now we are just waiting for the summer so we can swim outside!!! Everyone at the pool just thought she was adorable in her little bathing suit. This is one of the swimming suits that Her cousin Jackson picked out when we were in Alabama!! It fits her perfect!! And she looks adorable in it, Jackson did a great job picking it out! And those lady's were right she looked absolutly adorable in it!!

Maya went to Muscle Shoals Alabama to visit with Aunt Julie, Uncle Joe, Bayley & Jackson for the weekend!! We all had a wonderful time. on the trip down there we left at night so Maya could sleep in the car, and she did wonderful on the trip! She slept about 5 hours down there. We got in to Muscle Shoals Early Friday Morning! We enjoyed getting to see the Rineharts new house and spend the weekend with them! Maya loved all the attention. It was beautiful weather down there during the weekend and I was able to take Maya outside and take a little walk and enjoy the weather! And Wes, Joe & Bayley enjoyed the weather while playing golf! Maya, Aunt Julie, Jackson, & my self also were able to go shopping for a while. Jackson picked out some summer clothes & hats for Maya and also a bathingsuit! Thank you Aunt Julie for the summer attire!! And the swimming suits, she's all ready to swim!! On the trip home Maya slept a little but was awake quiet a bit too but did so well!!

Maya's first Crown!

Princess Maya!! What a beautiful and perfect Princess!!!



Little Maya was in her first Pageant!! She was in the Sunburst pageant in Mattoon. Maya was crowed Tiny Queen. She also brought home the prettiest smile award, photogenic, best personality, Best Attire, & Prettiest eyes. Maya has her first crown & two trophies!! She will advance to the state pageant on May 24th 2008 in Bloomington IL. Maya had her own little cheering group, Grandma & Grandpa landreth, Grandma Cammon, Uncle Justin, Aunt Ashley, Lexi, Jennifer, Aunt Holly, Ava, Aunt Tiffany & Vayda.

Congratulations baby girl you are our Queen!! You were so pretty!!

Maya's Cousin Lexi was also in the pageant!! Lexi won best attire & 1st runner up!! And her Cousin Vayda was in the 2 year old compition. She was best attire, prettiest smile, best personality, Top Model Face, & was crown the Little Queen along with her cousin Ava who also got the prettiest hair!! They all did so well and were absolutly adorable!!

Maya went to Mattoon Sears to get her 3 months pictures done. She did very well and smiled very well for the pictures. She even had an adorable pouting face picture. We had so much fun, they did so well and she was a little ham! I can't wait to get the pictures back!

I can't believe the 3 month mark has already came! It is going so fast and she is growing so much. And doing so much more every day! It is amazing to watch her change every moment. Everyday there is something new and everyday is that much more fun!!
